Moon Phases - Moon Magick
NEW MOON -
A good time for starting something new such as a new business, job or romance. Also good time
for self-improvement. New projects may also be blessed at this time.
1ST QUARTER -
Time for attracting new things toward you which will grow as the moon waxes. Also magick for
friendship, animals and prosperity may be performed.
WAXING MOON -
A good time for constructive magick such as starting a new love or healing.
GIBBOUS -
This is a good time to strengthen things already in progress.
FULL MOON -
Best time for any kind of ritual, magick is at it's peak. Meditations involving prophesy should be done now and dream work is at it's height.
WANING MOON -
Best time for bindings and banishing magick. Good for cleansing yourself of things you don't
want such as illness and negativity.
LAST QUARTER -
A time to reflect on life. The last quarter is also a time for ending things as the moon is
almost at the end of its cycle.
DARK MOON -
Generally Witches do not perform magick at this time. Divination is at a height however.
BLUE MOON -
The Blue Moon is the second full moon in any given month. Set yourself goals during this time.
